Kerala Agricultural University (KAU),
established in 1972, is the primary and principal institution of
the Kerala state in providing human resource, skill and
technology required for the sustainable development of
Agriculture. Kerala Agricultural University has been adjudged as
the ‘Best Agricultural University’ by Indian Council of
Agricultural Research (ICAR). KAU caters the needs of the entire
state through 10 colleges, 32 research stations and 12 extension
centres.
M.B.A. in Agribusiness
Management is offered by College of Co-operation,
Banking and Management, a constituent institution of Kerala
Agricultural University. The programme aims at empowering
graduates, particularly graduates from Agricultural Universities
with critical management and entrepreneurial competencies
enabling them to own and manage agribusiness enterprises of
global standards.
DISHANA – 2010,
the first National Management Meet organized by the
students of KAUMBA, will be attracting B-Schools across
the country. It provides a common platform to the students of
management institutes to showcase their management talents,
skill and excellence and to impregnate their minds with virgin
management thoughts and ideas. The programme is decked with
events like Interaction with Industry Captains, Seminars
anchored by Top Order Management Experts and Competitions in
Business Plan, Paper Presentation, Business Quiz and Finance
Game.
