COLLEGE OF CO-OPERATION, BANKING AND
MANAGEMENT
College
of Co-operation, Banking and Management (CCBM) was established
in 1981 under the Faculty of Agriculture, Kerala Agricultural
University. The College is pursuing teaching, research and
extension programmes in domains relevant and beneficial to the
farming community such as Co-operatives, Banks, Commodity
Boards, Agribusiness Organizations, Rural Development
Organizations and other support service institutions. The
College has to its credit the accreditation of Indian Council of
Agricultural Research (ICAR) from 25th August 2004.
CCBM has been recognized as a resource centre by several
national level institutions for hosting training programmes,
workshops, short-term courses, summer institutes and seminars.
The graduates of the College hold coveted posts in leading
banking, financial services, co-operative, agribusiness
institutions and Universities in India and abroad.
TRICHUR MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
Trichur
Management Association (TMA) affiliated to the All India
Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi was established in the
year 1990, with the objective of promoting professional
management in the region. During the past 18 years of its
existence, Trichur Management Association has grown as a body to
pool managerial thoughts, a forum to develop managerial ethos,
an organization to facilitate furtherance of the profession and
to communicate best business practices to the industrial and
business community in and around Thrissur. The changing
industrial and economic environment has enhanced the management
challenges and TMA has been constantly scaling up its
activities, both in terms of quality and spread, so as to
adequately respond to the emerging needs of its members. TMA has
been conducting various management programmes, Seminars,
Industry – Institute interfaces, etc.
