Application form and prospectus for admission to the MBA
programme can be downloaded from the KAU official website

in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. The downloaded application should
be printed on A4 size paper and used. The filled in
application forms may be submitted to the
Registrar, Kerala
Agricultural University, KAU P.O., Thrissur, Kerala - 680 656
along
with application processing fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one
thousand only), (in the case of SC/ST candidates Rs.500/-
(Rupees five hundred only) by DD drawn in favour of the
Comptroller, Kerala
Agricultural University, Vellanikkara payable at the State Bank
of Travancore, KAU Campus Branch, Vellanikkara
so as to reach on or before the date and time indicated in the
notification. No other mode of payment will be accepted under
any circumstances.
A passport size photograph of the candidate
bearing his/her signature should be affixed on the application
and admit card(s) in the appropriate place.
Application from employed candidates should be
routed through their Heads of Departments/employer/institution.
Last date
for receipt of filled in Application is 2nd
September 2006 (4 pm).
Rejection of application and disqualification Of candidates
Applications received late or found defective or
incomplete in any manner or which do not contain any of the
enclosures specified are liable to be summarily rejected.
Applicants who attempt to canvas or influence the
members of the Selection Committee directly or otherwise will be
disqualified.
Admission to foreign students
The normal procedure for seeking admission is
that the foreign students should apply in the prescribed form
available with the Indian Missions abroad and the application is
to be forwarded to the Government of India by the
Embassy/Mission concerned. The Ministry of Education then
arranges for admission.
Foreign students who have arrived in India on
tourist visas will not be admitted unless they have taken the
previous approval of the Government of India to their visas
being converted to student visas. But their applications will be
provisionally considered and their eligibility decided. An
‘Eligibility Certificate’ with indication of last date by which
they must join the course will be issued to the eligible
candidates and they will be advised to approach the Ministry of
Home Affairs through the Foreigners' Registration Officer or the
State Government where the foreign students are temporarily
residing at the time of application. With such application for
conversion of their visa they should attach the eligibility
certificate in original.
Before actually joining the course, foreign
students will also be required to fill in the relevant
particulars in the application form obtainable from the Kerala
Agricultural University Office on payment of the required fee.
The facilities of reservation of seats will be
given only to the following two categories of foreign students
viz.,
a) Foreign students supported by Govt. of India
through scholarships/ fellowships.
b) Foreign students supported by respective
Govt./International organisation through
scholarships/fellowships and approved by Govt. of India
(ICAR/DARE). |
